Justin walked along the aisles lazily, leaning over the cart. Grocery shopping, eh. It was almost as if the act of grocery shopping had become mechanical. Granted he was usually doing it sometime around mid-day but other then the time everything was the same. It was somewhere around ten and the night sky was lit up with a full moon. Mr. Taylor had been so busy with his applications to new colleges he hadn't had time to get food for the coming week.
It'd been almost 2 days since he had seen Brian. His lover was busy with job interviews. The more interviews he went to the more dinners he had to go to and the less time he spent with Justin. So yeah, Justin was having a little bit of Kinney withdrawal. Everything he picked up to put in the cart reminded him of Brian.
Coffee: Special Blend? Brian was a coffee addict. Images of Brian naked and grinding up coffee beans flew through Justin's mind.
Vanilla ice cream? Ice. Cream. Kiss.
Cheese? Yeah ok, he couldn't associate Brian with cheese in any way but still... Brian.
Justin almost felt like he had traveled back in time. Back to a time where he was so lost in that man that he had lost his own self. Justin didn't want to go back to that time. He didn't want to allow himself to get hurt again. He just wanted to stay where he was. Where he was was good for both of them. He's realized that he doesn't have to define his and Brian's relationship. He just needs to let it be. Oh, egg rolls!
One minute Justin's bending over to pick up the egg roll box he dropped and the next a crotch is grinding into his ass and arms are secured firmly around his waist. He freezes and then turns his head slightly. He smells him before he sees him. It's that freshly fucked, calm, hundred dollar cologne smell.
"Brian! How'd you know I was here? Aren't you supposed to be at dinner with some prospect?" Justin smiles, turning in Brian's arms and resisting the urge to just rest his face in the curve of the older man's neck.
"You left a note at the house. I finished dinner early."
"What, you fuck the waiter?"
Brian gave the small blonde a "come on, me?" look. It was either Brian's look of innocence or his look of guilt. Justin wasn't sure. Probably a little bit of both. Justin gave him a big wet kiss on the cheek and started back towards his cart.
"I know how much you hate grocery shopping. You can go on back to the house. I'll be there soon as I get done here." Justin was already trudging on over to the next aisle. Baby diapers and dog food. That's just wrong.
"I'm horny!" Brian, following his lover, tried to whisper seductively behind Justin. It would have been extremely sexy if Brian hadn't tripped over the can Justin just dropped and stumbled for a few seconds before catching his balance. Justin broke out in giggles and Brian put on his "I'm affronted" look. Justin tried and tried to calm his laughing but just couldn't get the hilarity of the situation out of his mind.
"You. Here. Now." Brian spat out and pulled Justin by the tips of his hair towards the bathroom in the back. Justin tried to struggled out of Brian's grasp but he was laughing too hard.
"Wait-no. The cart-cart. Hahaha, what about the food?"
"Fuck the food."
"Ew! Brian!"
Brian reached the bathroom and locked the door behind him and Justin. Thank God for one toilet bathrooms.
"Fine, I'll fuck you instead."
Justin's giggles died down when Brian backed him against the wall. Their lips met and instead of the kiss being animalistic and hungry it was sweet and affectionate.
Yes, Justin liked where they were at just fine.
